That's a "rap"!

When our student teacher was asking the kids if they knew what a rap was, they told her it was like a wrapper on a candy bar. They gave her quite the explanation. Than she asked them if they knew what a beat was. One cleaver little man, responded with "Yeah, like when you beat someone." So close!

I haven't posted for awhile, so here we go. Today we had a lock down drill, and Mrs. Mellor was explaining to the kids, that sometimes there are bad people in the world that might want to hurt us, and it is our job to help protect them. One of the kids says, oh yeah like the people who smoke. If it is people who smoke that we only have to worry about, I think we are pretty darn safe!
